The Lewis Katz School emailed faculty, staff and students on November 17, 2025, to announce the name change of the Office of Health Equity, Diversity & Inclusion to the Office of Strategic Partnership in Healthcare Education and Resources (SPHERE), notably a different acronym from the website. The email clearly states that the office’s mission, services, core work and “data-informed equity initiatives” will “continue without interruption.””
