Cara Tolliver

Vice President of Legal Programs

Cara Tolliver serves as Vice President of Legal Programs for Do No Harm, where her focuses include directing and managing the organization’s litigation program. Tolliver is a passionate advocate of reasonable sense and constitutionally-mandated equality under the law.

Prior to joining Do No Harm, Tolliver served as a litigation attorney at the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty, where she argued and won several injunctions having nationwide impacts. Before transitioning to the nonprofit sphere, Tolliver also worked in private practice as a health law attorney.

In addition to her law degree, Tolliver holds a dual degree in Clinical Laboratory Science and Microbiology. Before earning her law degree, she spent nearly a decade in the health care industry, serving as a laboratory manager and leader at various hospitals and health systems throughout the country.
