Douglas Novotny, PhD

Douglas Novotny, a licensed clinical psychologist is Interim Director of FAIR in Medicine, with 25+ years clinical experience and 15+ years teaching and supervising therapists at all levels. He completed an interdisciplinary psychology Ph.D. at the University of Chicago, and Clinical Internship at Harvard’s Cambridge Hospital. Specialties include the interface between psychology and culture, and child and family treatment. Other interests include clinical applications related to Natural Horsemanship, Improvisational Theater, and the life-course of major individual philanthropists.
