Greg Drobny came to Do No Harm after several decades of experience in various arenas that have enabled him to draw from numerous industries. After several years as a welder and metal fabricator, bartender, retail store manager, and construction driver, Greg was motivated to join the US Army immediately following 9/11. The following 8 years were a crash course in military special operations and private security contracting, with several trips to Central America and a year-long tour as a Psychological Operations Team Chief in Iraq acting as key moments in his understanding of where he fit into this world.

Upon leaving the military life behind, Greg added a marriage and four children to his proudest achievements, but also pursued a great deal of education while working in the political arena, as a professional writer, and as a military veteran recruiter for a tech school. His studies in school and on his own time have focused primarily on understanding the intersection of political and religious ideology over time, and how individuals interact with them. Both his BA and MA in history have focused on historical examples of this, and his MS in organizational psychology primarily focused on cognitive biases in relation to systems thinking.

In his free time, Greg’s favorite activities involve reading, conversations with his favorite people, music, and being beaten (often badly) by his children in whatever game happens to catch their fancy.
