DEI
“Diversity, equity, and inclusion” or DEI involves treating individuals on the basis of their group identity, often through racial discrimination. DEI initiatives reward or punish individuals on the basis of race. DEI is not only unfair and unethical, but threatens the quality of medical care by prioritizing ideology over merit.
Activists in medicine have pushed the notion that children experiencing gender dysphoria should be subjected to sex-denying medical interventions such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries.
These interventions lack scientific justification, may cause serious life-altering damage, and cannot be meaningfully consented to by children.
