A criterion for the President’s Campus and Community Engagement Award is “Commitment to advancing the health of diverse communities, including but not limited to: establishment of an annual event or program, community outreach or engagement, providing a distinctive service to the PCOM community, research to advance the health of diverse communities in their respective field.”

Chief Campus and Community Partnerships Officer Marcine Pickron-Davis was previously chief diversity and community relations offices and described her job as “to advance the College’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives at all three locations. This includes ensuring social justice, health equity, and cultural competency are at the forefront of our mission.” She also launched the “2025 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Strategic Plan.”
