James Eller

Director of Investigations

James Eller serves as Do No Harm's Director of Investigations. He joined Do No Harm after nearly a decade of experience in opposition and vulnerability research for various political campaigns and corporate clients.

In addition to his work as a campaign consultant, James was a staffer on Capitol Hill, an organizer for the North Carolina GOP, and most recently assumed the role of Research Director for a 2024 Presidential campaign. His work has been published in several major news outlets and used in campaign advertisements across the country. With a background in both policy and campaigns, James is able to identify winning policies that motivate voters and legislators.

James graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Political Science and a love for Tar Heel sports. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities, grilling, and spending time with his German Shepherd, Yeager.
