DEI ideology in medicine is often grounded on false but well-entrenched myths about systemic racism in healthcare. Take, for example, the notion that patients receive better medical care from doctors of the same racial group. Medical research does not support this claim, but it is nevertheless used as justification for DEI initiatives that invariably discriminate […]

It’s shocking that we have been forced into even having to argue these biological points of gender. I applaud others who have already stated that “do no harm” includes all people worldwide. This is insulting to health care professionals – setting the record straight is imperative.
I have joined your mission because it is necessary for everyone to understand the demise of health from an allopathic system like the US. I’ve had numerous personal experiences where harm was apparent and “do no harm” was not in the equation.
A small number of medical schools are offering joint baccalaureate-MD programs, in which high school students are admitted into programs where they can earn both an undergraduate and a medical degree. But the University of Colorado Denver’s (CU Denver) BA/BS-MD program, operated in partnership with the University of Colorado School of Medicine, is a little […]
My employer has mandatory DEI training and I refused to do it. They expect me to walk into a 70-year-old man’s room and ask him what his pronouns are. I absolutely refused to do this or the training. So far I haven’t been fired or anything but I’m concerned that this could change in the coming […]
When the leaders of the American College of Surgeons banned me for life for objecting to their embrace of antiracism and DEI, I was totally isolated and silenced. Do No Harm gave me indispensable support and a voice with which to push back against illiberal progressive ideology in medicine.
Do No Harm has extensively cataloged examples of racial discrimination in medical education over the past few years. Oftentimes, the prime culprits are professional medical associations that become captured by the DEI ideology and engage in racial discrimination in service of this agenda. Take the Association for Academic Surgery; the AAS has for years maintained […]
In the media and across academic medicine, science and the English language are under attack. Genetic and biologic sex are referred to as “Gender Assigned at Birth.” Pregnant women must be termed “Pregnant People.” Do No Harm stands for science, logic and evidence-based medicine.
I have been suspended from social media for commenting on past failures and falsehoods in healthcare; now it’s forced gender transition upon our kids by professional adults. It’s the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
Paul is a tireless advocate for patients in Oregon, especially children with autism. 10 years ago, he helped win a major lawsuit in federal court, A.F. v. Providence, which held that since autism was a mental health condition, Oregon and federal law required health insurers to cover all “medically necessary” evidence-based care. It was a […]
Nearly two dozen states are urging a federal appeals court to uphold Florida’s ban on child sex change operations, warning that history may not look kindly on the sterilization of children for gender distress. In a brief filed Wednesday and obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation, Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall and 22 other […]
The Society for Academic Emergency Medicine’s (SAEM) Leadership, Engagement, and Academic Pathway (LEAP) Program is designed to provide mentorship and guidance to medical students seeking to work in academic emergency medicine. Sponsored by the organization’s Equity and Inclusion Committee and the Academy for Diversity and Inclusion in Emergency Medicine, the LEAP program offers a $1,000 […]
Last week, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Young Americans for Freedom, and the Cato Institute each filed amicus briefs in Do No Harm’s lawsuit against California’s medical board. Do No Harm thanks these organizations for their work to fight for free speech in medical education. In 2019, California mandated all continuing medical education […]
In addition to “getting it right,” Dr. Goldfarb is inspirational to doctors like me in the older (sort of retired) set. Our voices can and must make a difference. I’m grateful to all of you at Do No Harm for your unflagging enthusiasm and pursuit of mission.
‘Irresponsible’ not to train ‘future practitioners for the realities they will be facing’ Climate change courses should be “mandatory” for aspiring doctors, according to medical students and clinicians in Michigan. “My personal opinion is that it should be mandatory,” Dr. Lisa DelBuono told The College Fix via email. “Climate change has been politicized, but it is not […]
One would think that a person who is pregnant must be, by definition, a woman. Well, according to draft style guidance under consideration by the American Medical Association (AMA), that’s not always the case. The AMA is now considering codifying the most extreme manifestations of gender ideology into its style guidance for medical publications, with […]
