Dr. Ivan Abdouch

Dr. Ivan Abdouch is a husband, father, grandfather, and retired family physician who lives in Papillion, Nebraska. He served for many years as a board member and President of the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians, later representing Nebraska as the state’s delegate to the American Academy of Family Physicians Congress of Delegates. After ten years of full-spectrum private practice in Papillion (solo for the first seven), he spent the next 32 years on faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and is currently Associate Professor Emeritus.

Among many pursuits in patient care, teaching, and research, he provided transgender care for 30 years as medical director for the Omaha Gender Identity Team.
