Do No Harm sued Project HOPE and its journal, Health Affairs, for racially excluding whites from their Fellowship in violation of federal civil-rights laws. Defendants moved to dismiss Do No Harm’s lawsuit, which DNH opposed in January 2023.
On January 22, 2024, Do No Harm announced it voluntarily dropped a lawsuit against Health Affairs’ Health Equity Fellowship for Trainees after Health Affairs eliminated its discriminatory racial eligibility requirements.
